As reinforcements are set to join crews sifting round-the-clock through the rubble of the building collapse in Surfside, Florida, there was a harrowing reminder of the tragedy's heartbreaking reckoning when the names of two more children were added to the list of victims.
Lucia Guara, 10, and Emma Guara, 4, were identified Wednesday as two of the 18 people confirmed to have been killed in the collapse of the condo building last week, Mayor Danielle Levine Cava said. There are still 145 people unaccounted for. "Any loss of life -- especially given the unexpected, unprecedented nature of this event -- is a tragedy but the loss of our children is too great to bear," Cava said.More Related News
