Republicans erupt after Pentagon exempts Ukraine aid from potential US government shutdown: 'Says it all'

Republicans are sounding off after the Pentagon confirmed its operations supporting Ukraine's military would be exempt from any potential U.S. government shutdown.

"Operation Atlantic Resolve is an excepted activity under a government lapse in appropriations," DOD spokesperson Chris Sherwood told Fox News Digital in a statement, providing a link to the DOD’s contingency plan guidance.  Jessica Chasmar is an editor on the politics team for Fox News and Fox Business.
