
Republican Mark Robinson 'seriously considering' NC Senate run

North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, a Republican, told Fox News in an interview that he is "strongly considering" a run for Senate in 2022.
Robinson is North Carolina's first Black lieutenant governor and found his way to politics in 2018 when his impassioned speech about gun rights to the city council of Greensboro, N.C., went viral.
