Replica of Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy installed at Visakhapatnam airport

VISAKHAPATNAM

A replica of the idol of Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, installed at Visakhapatnam International Airport, was inaugurated by Sri Swaroopanandendra Swamy, Head of Visakha Sri Sarada Peetham, on Monday.

Sri Swaroopanandendra Swamy said that Visakhapatnam, which has earned a name for itself as one of the beautiful cities in the world, draws thousands of tourists and others on a regular basis. He commended temple Executive Officer M.V. Suryakala and Trust Board Members for installation of the replica at the airport.

Ms. Suryakala said that a replica of the idol was already installed at Visakhapatnam Railway Station. She said that another replica would be installed at Bhubaneswar Railway Station in the near future.

Airport Director K. Srinivasa Rao, Trust Board Members Gantla Srinu Babu, Dinesh Raju, Doddi Ramana, Satish Patrudu, Chandu, Suvvada Sridevi, Vankayala Nirmala and Ramalakshmi were present.

Telugu film ‘KGF’ hero Yash offered prayers at the replica. Ms. Suryakala told Mr. Yash about the sacred Simhachalam temple and its spiritual importance.
