Rep. Chip Roy is slamming House Democrats for moves to “stonewall” a resolution of inquiry that seeks information from the Department of Homeland Security about the ongoing crisis at the southern border.
"We filed the resolution of inquiry...because we filed and sent letters asking for information over the course of the year and never heard back," Roy told Fox News in an interview this week.
The resolution includes a request for the number of migrants who have illegally entered the U.S., the breakdown of migrants, the number of migrants removed, the number of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents re-assigned to migrant shelters and information related to how many migrants have tested positive for COVID-19 and were released.
