Rep. Nicole Malliotakis asks feds to help restore law and order in NYC

GOP Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis has demanded President Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland send the feds to Gotham to help the city in its losing battle against rising crime.

“We urge you to deploy additional law enforcement officers to New York to assist our police force until our communities no longer face this daily and growing threat of gun violence,” the freshman Staten Island lawmaker wrote in a May 7 letter to both men she shared with The Post. “While this rise in crime should be handled on a local level, partisan ideology has clouded the judgment of far too many in our city and state leadership.”
