Rep. Matt Gaetz's communications director steps down amid federal investigation of congressman
Fox News
Rep. Matt Gaetz's communications director has left the office of the Florida Republican amid a federal criminal probe into whether the congressman paid women for sex.
"The Office of Congressman Matt Gaetz and Luke Ball have agreed that it would be best to part ways," Gaetz's office said in a statement to Fox News. "We thank him for his time in our office, and we wish him the best moving forward." Ball did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment on whether he resigned out of principle, as was suggested by another news outlet.More Related News
