Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., on Friday posted a video of himself reading Dr. Seuss' "Green Eggs and Ham," after the famous children's author-illustrator came under fire this week.
"I still like Dr. Seuss, so I decided to read Green Eggs and Ham," McCarthy tweeted Friday with a video of himself reading the book. The company said copies of "And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street," "If I Ran the Zoo," "McElligot's Pool," "On Beyond Zebra!," "Scrambled Eggs Super!," and "The Cat's Quizzer" will no longer be published as of March 2, which was Seuss' birthday and National Read Across America Day.More Related News
