Citing WHO guidelines, the IT Ministry has asked social media companies to 'remove' all content referring to or implying the 'Indian variant' of Covid-19.
The Government of India has directed all social media platforms, asking them to purge all content referring to or implying the 'Indian variant of Covid-19'. This development comes days after a controversy erupted over Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's reference to the 'Singapore variant' of the infection.
