Remo D'Souza recalls being bullied, called 'kaalu, kaalia'. Here's how his mom comforted him

In his latest post on Instagram, choreographer Remo D'Souza mentioned being bullied for his dark complexion. He further revealed how his mother comforted him.
Choreographer and director Remo D'Souza is an avid social media user. He often shares funny videos with his wife, Lizelle D'Souza. Together, they entertain their fans with funny videos. But this time around, Remo recalled the days when people used to call him various names because of his dark complexion. The choreographer further mentioned that his mother would sing a song to comfort him.
Sharing the video with his wife on Instagram, Remo captioned his post: "I used to hate when ppl called me #kaalia #kalu , but then my mom told me that it’s not the #colour it’s the #heart that matters and use to sing this #song , since then this became my fav song. Now I sing this song to @lizelleremodsouza (sic)."
In the video, one can hear Mohammad Rafi's song Hum Kaale Hai Toh Kya Hua Dilwale Hain from the film Gumnaam. In the caption, Remo mentioned that whenever he used to feel bad, his mother would sing the aforementioned song to comfort him. And ever since, it has become his favourite song and now he sings this song to his wife, Lizelle D'Souza.
