In a major relief for medicos, the Supreme Court on Friday upheld reservation for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Other Backward Castes (OBC) for the current year in the NEET post-graduate admissions case.

The top court has allowed 27 per cent reservation for OBCs and 10 per cent for EWS category in the All-India Quota (AIQ) seats for admission in the NEET for all medical seats as existing criteria this year.
