A Covid-19 patient's relative attacked a doctor at the Covid ward of a government hospital in Nanded district with a knife.

A doctor at a government hospital in Nanded district of Maharashtra was attacked with a knife by the relative of a Covid-19 patient when he tried to resolve a dispute. A relative of the accused was undergoing treatment at the Covid ward of the government hospital in Nanded. The accused, Bhausaheb Gaekwad, had gone to meet his relative when he got into an argument with the doctor. As a commotion broke out, other families raised objection to the dispute inside the Covid ward. As the accused continued to argue with the other families, the doctor intervened.
