Rejig in RSS ahead of UP election, Arun Kumar replaces Krishna Gopal as point person for BJP

The RSS has appointed joint general secretary Arun Kumar as the coordinator between the RSS and BJP. He will also oversee the political matters of the RSS. Arun Kumar replaced Krishna Gopal who held the charge since 2015.

Ahead of the crucial assembly election in Uttar Pradesh, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has introduced a major organisational change. RSS joint general secretary Arun Kumar has been appointed as the new point person for the BJP. Sah Sarkaryawah Arun Kumar on Sunday replaced Krishna Gopal as the BJP’s Sampark Adhikari -- the coordinator for political issues, including with the BJP.
