Regina fire responds to downtown blaze

Smoke clouds could be seen from around the downtown area, and witnesses reported a loud bang. As of 1:40 p.m., the fire has been put out.

Regina fire crews are at the scene of a fire near 12th Avenue and Halifax Street.

A homeless encampment was located between two houses where the fire occurred.
