A REET controversy has erupted once again with the question paper of the fourth inning going viral on social media.
A controversy has erupted once again in the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination (REET) after the paper of the fourth inning went viral on social media. As a security measure, this time the question paper was also collected from all candidates along with the answer sheets.
"Some candidates must have torn a few pages of the fourth innings paper of REET and later uploaded it on social media. We will catch the accused as the investigation is underway," Education Minister BD Kalla told India Today over a call.
The education minister added, "This time, exams were held peacefully and in a transparent manner. No complaints of paper leak have been reported from any part of the state. There is no need to do politics over the paper leak."
Earlier, BJP leaders had demanded a probe into the matter.
Over the alleged paper leak, Rajya Sabha MP from Rajasthan Kirori Lal Meena said, "Forty-two questions of social analysis went viral on social media even after the question papers were collected from all centers. A fair probe must be conducted."
The exam got mired in controversy last year as the question paper had allegedly been leaked two days before the examination on September 26.
The police investigation had revealed that a question paper was stolen from an office of the state education department strong room and it was thereafter leaked.
