Realme Pad tablet may use MediaTek processor with 4GB of RAM

Realme Pad may be the Apple iPad rival that everyone is thinking it would be but its hardware tells a different story.
Realme Pad is coming later this year, according to the company’s announcement earlier this year. The tablet, which will be the brand’s first, has so far emerged as a competition against the Apple iPad, thanks to the flat design and metallic finish that are very identical. But to be the competition in the true sense, not just the looks but the internals of the Realme Pad should also level with what iPad offers. A new leak shows that might not be the case. The Realme Pad has shown up on the Geekbench website with a MediaTek processor, throwing the rumours related to Qualcomm chipsets out the window. According to the Geekbench listing, spotted by Bestopedia, Realme’s RMP2102 model, which is the Realme Pad, will feature the MediaTek MT6769V/CU octa-core chipset, including six 1.8GHz cores and two 2GHz cores. This MediaTek chipset is commonly called the Helio G80, which the company has used on a number of its low-end smartphones. The processor is good enough for the price bracket that most Realme phones come at, which makes me wonder whether or not the Realme Pad will be an entry-level tablet.More Related News
