Realme's latest 5G phones, the Realme 9 5G SE and the Realme 9 5G, will be available to buy from Flipkart and the Realme online store for the first time today along with discount offers.
Realme 9 5G SE and Realme 9 5G will go on sale today for the first time in India. Both new phones recently joined the 9 series, which already has phones such as the Realme 9 Pro Plus and the Realme 9i. Aimed at gamers, the Realme 9 5G SE is the company’s first SE phone. SE is short for Speed Edition. The vanilla model, Realme 9 5G, on the other hand, is meant for a typical user looking for a good-looking budget phone.
Alongside the new Realme 9 5G series phones, the Realme TechLife Watch S100 will also go on sale today. The brand-new smartwatch is Realme’s first to allow users to measure their body temperature. The Watch S100, which has a 1.69-inch colour display, also comes with a heart rate sensor and a sleep tracker. The Realme Watch S100 costs Rs 1,999 as a part of the introductory offer.
REALME 9 5G SERIES PRICEThe Realme 9 5G SE costs Rs 19,999 for the 6GB RAM variant, while the variant with 8GB of RAM is priced at Rs 22,999. You can buy the phone in Azure Glow and Starry Glow colours. If you want a cheaper phone, you can consider the Realme 9 5G, which costs Rs 14,999 for the 6GB RAM variant and Rs 17,499 for the 8GB RAM variant. This phone comes in Meteor Black and Stargaze White colours.
REALME 9 5G SERIES SALEThe first sale of both, Realme 9 5G SE and Realme 9 5G, will start at 12 pm today. You can buy the new Realme phones from Flipkart and Realme’s online store. But if you are looking to buy a phone from a shop near you, you may have to wait.
Buying the phone online, however, is better since you can get a discount of up to Rs 2,000 on your phone purchase. On using a credit card from ICICI Bank, you get Rs 1,500 off on the Realme 9 5G and a Rs 2,000 discount on the Realme 9 5G SE.
REALME 9 5G SERIES SPECIFICATIONSIf you are looking for a budget phone with good looks, the Realme 9 5G is a good option. The Realme 9 5G features a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It uses an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. You can add a microSD card to expand the storage. The Realme 9 5G ships with Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 skin on top. The Realme 9 5G also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The three cameras of the Realme 9 5G include a 48-megapixel main sensor with an F1.8 aperture, a black-and-white sensor with an F2.4 aperture, and a 4cm macro sensor with an F2.4 aperture. On the front, the phone has a 16-megapixel camera and it resides inside the punch-hole on the display. The phone uses a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging through a USB-C port.
