Talking about the dull phase in his career, India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has said that he could not sleep properly for almost 18 months. Jadeja added that during the period he just kept on thinking about ways to prove himself again.
Ravindra Jadeja is currently in Mumbai and serving the mandatory quarantine period before boarding the flight to England. He will be one of the crucial members of the team during the almost 4-month long tour which starts with the World Test Championship (WTC) final from June 18. The 32-year-old will be making his first appearance for India since January 2021. Due to his time in rehab because of a fractured thumb, Jadeja did not feature in the multi-format home series versus England. However, he turned up for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2021 and put on quite a show to guide his team to the 2nd spot before the tournament was postponed. The star all-rounder an automatic selection in all three formats of the game but things were not so glittery 2 years ago when he was finding it difficult to even sleep. Notably, Jadeja was dropped from the ODI and T20I squads as the spin duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal was preferred and in the Tests, Ravichandran Ashwin was playing ahead of him.More Related News
