Ravindra Jadeja can hit a footmark even if it is the size of a roti consistently, says David Warner

David Warner was all praise for Ravindra Jadeja's consistency and accuracy and backed him to play in the World Test Championship final.
Australia batsman David Warner backed Ravindra Jadeja to be included in India's eleven for the World Test Championship (WTC) Final against New Zealand. The match, which is the maiden final of the two-year competition, is set to be played at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton from June 18 to 22. Warner said that Jadeja and R Ashwin could trouble the New Zealand batsmen. "Over time Jadeja has bowled exceptionally well against left-handers. There only has to be one little footmark that could be the size of a roti and he will hit that consistently. They are going to be troubled with those two spinners I feel," Warner told Sports Today. The Australian was also all praise for Rahul Dravid for how he helped groom young Indian players for international cricket. Warner was part of the Australian team that lost 2-1 to a largely second string Indian team in the 2020/21 Test series at home."When you take the captain away, who is a world class player and has a lot of runs on the board, and you've got this youth coming with energy and performing against us the way they did, I think they are going to be a force to be reckoned with," said Warner. India skipper Virat Kohli had left the series after the first Test, which they lost by eight wickets after being all out for 36 in the second innings.More Related News
