
Rave party at Moinabad farmhouse: 15 held, drugs and liquor seized

Fifteen arrested at mujra party for indecent behavior, prostitution, and human trafficking; seized drugs, liquor, cash, and cars.
Fifteen persons, including two women, were, arrested following a raid at a mujra party in a farmhouse in Moinabad on Wednesday morning.
The operation was carried out by the Moinabad police along with Rajendranagar Special Operation Team (SOT). Abdul Luqmaan, P. Babu, Reena, Faisal, Nilofar, and ten others were arrested while five women were rescued from Holiday Home farmhouse in Yethbarpally. Police said that the men were found engaging in indecent behaviour with five semi-nude women performing obscene dances to loud music.
Upon being questioned, the women revealed that they had been procured by the organisers for the purposes of prostitution and human trafficking. The event was organised by Luqmaan, a resident of Hyderabad, who, along with twelve others, participated in the party. The women were brought to the event by P. Babu and Reena, on Luqmaan’s request.
A search of the premises led to the seizure of approximately 70 grams of dry ganja, which Luqmaan procured from a man known as Addu. Although all party attendees were tested for drugs, the results returned negative. The police also seized 15 different liquor bottles, ₹19,710 in cash, six cars, 18 mobile phones, two hookah pots among things.
A case has been registered under the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA), the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, the Telangana Excise Act along with relevant sections of the BNS.
The fifteen accused were remanded to judicial custody. Further investigation is underway.
