Ratan Tata shares old pic from Tata Estate launch party on JRD Tata's 117th birth anniversary

To mark JRD Tata's 117th birth anniversary, Ratan Tata shared an old picture from the Tata Estate launch celebration.

On JRD Tata's 117th birth anniversary on July 29, industrialist Ratan Tata posted “another reminiscent picture, another memory” in a post on Instagram and also shared the story behind the image. Jehangir Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata was an aviator, entrepreneur and chairman of the Tata Group. In his post, Ratan Tata shared an old picture of himself with JRD Tata from the launch celebration of the Tata Estate at the Pune plant. The Tata Estate, a station wagon, was one of the first cars with which Tata Motors entered the Passenger Car segment in India. The other one being the Tata Sierra followed by the Tata Indica.
