RAPO 22: Ram Pothineni plays Sagar in director Mahesh Babu’s next

We had previously reported that actor Ram Pothineni is teaming up with director Mahesh Babu for a new film that’s tentatively titled RAPO 22. The makers of the film have now released the first look of the actor from the film.

Ram plays Sagar in the yet-to-be-titled film and the first look features the actor with a book next to a bicycle. The poster also confirmed that the film has gone on floors.

Ram took to social media to share the first look image and called his character Sagar as “he’s all love”.

The film was launched in Hyderabad last month. The event was attended by the actor and director along with Bhagyashree Borse, producers Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni, and several notable personalities, including Hanu Raghavapudi and Gopichand Malineni.

Vivek–Mervin, the music composer duo consisting of Vivek Siva and Mervin Solomon, will compose music for the upcoming film. The duo, known for working in Tamil films, will be making their Telugu debut with RAPO 22.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, The film is said to be period-based and also stars Bhagyashri Borse in the lead role. RAPO 22 has editing by Sreekar Prasad, cinematography by Madhu Neelakandan and production design by Avinash Kolla.
