Rapid spread of dengue in Rajasthan puts health facilities to test

Rajasthan has reported 6,700 dengue cases since January this year, with more than 4,700 cases coming in the months of September and October itself.
Covid-19 is yet to be completely eradicated from Rajasthan and the rising cases of dengue have put additional pressure on the state health department.
In several parts of the state, including the capital Jaipur, Bikaner and Barmer, dengue has spread rapidly. Out of more than 6,700 dengue cases reported in Rajasthan since January this year, more than 4,700 cases have been in the months of September and October itself.
