Raped by father-in-law, woman constable gets triple talaq from husband in Meerut

The woman was alone when her father-in-law Nazeer Ahmad, a police officer, allegedly raped her on Wednesday night. After she narrated the ordeal to her husband, also a police, he divorced her using the banned triple talaq system.

A woman constable in Uttar Pradesh was allegedly raped by her police father-in-law. Later, citing the incident, the woman's husband divorced her by pronouncing triple talaq. Reportedly, the woman was alone when her father-in-law Nazeer Ahmad, a part of the reserve police force Provincial Arms Constabulary (PAC), allegedly raped her on Wednesday night.
