Ranveer Singh is known to entertain the audience with his performances in films. This time around, the actor asked his fans to contribute with him to a noble cause. Ranveer, who was last seen in Jayeshbai Jordaar, shared a petition link on his official Instagram handle. The actor took to his IG story and urged fans to sign a petition. The petition is to make Indian Sign Language an official language under the Indian Constitution.
Sharing the petition link on his Instagram handle, Ranveer Singh wrote, "The petition link is live. Let's make Indian sign language the 23rd official language under our Constitution. Support, sign, share. (sic)."

For those unaware, the languages included in the Eighth schedule of the Indian Constitution are Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Maithili, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Santhali, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
Meanwhile, the petition, which Ranveer signed, was made by the National Association of the Deaf (NAD). The association has demanded the Home Ministry to take urgent steps to include Indian Sign Language (ISL) in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution.
Coming to Ranveer Singh's work front, the actor will be next seen in Rohit Shetty's Cirkus. The actor will be seen alongside Pooja Hegde and Varun Sharma in the film. The film is set to hit the big screen during Christmas this year. Post that, the actor will be seen in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Alia Bhatt.
