Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film Jayeshbhai Jordaar has created a major buzz across the country. In the film, scheduled to release on May 13, Ranveer plays a Gujarati man who will do anything to protect his unborn daughter. His character is truly an unconventional take on a hero and heroism. Well, his appearance in the film resonates with it.

Darshan is among the most popular mane men in Bollywood and has worked with an array of celebrities such as Karan Johar, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. As for Ranveer Singh, Darshan has been working with him for almost a decade now.

“Jayeshbhai Jordaar was a surprise film that came in between two films. As a routine, I went to the director for a narration to understand the character. After a long narration, I understood how Jayeshbhai is a different kind of ‘mard’. His character is very timid and gentle. He has modern ideas while he lives in a small town. He is soft and gentle yet heroic,” Darshan said.
“I thought of some ideas but I really wanted to focus on the moustache. I wanted to create a moustache that gives a very soft, gentle and timid feel and resonates with his humorous character,” he added.
