Ranveer Singh has lauded Ranbir Kapoor's film Brahmastra. The movie was released on September 9, 2022.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's Brahmastra is one of the most successful films of the year. The film has already minted over Rs 360 crore at the global box office. And the Ayan Mukerji directorial continues its dream run at the ticket window. In the meantime, Ranveer Singh shared his experience of watching Ayan's Brahmastra on the big screen. At a recently held event, the actor lauded Ranbir's Brahmastra.
As reported by PTI, Ranveer Singh, at an event, said, "I thoroughly enjoyed the Brahmastra experience, the Astraverse. It is a fantastic big-screen offering and something unlike anything we've seen in Hindi cinema. I truly appreciate the efforts of my friends and putting that out there. There is now a very clear distinction between what is meant for the big screen."
The actor further mentioned that the film releasing in theatres should have a big screen appeal and big scale. Ranveer believes that it should be a visual spectacle which is something one can't experience at home. "It's not the same when you're sitting alone and watching at home on the couch... It's a completely new landscape with the rise of new verticals," he added.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer will be next seen in Cirkus, directed by Rohit Shetty. The actor will be seen alongside Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Varun Sharma and Johnny Lever in the comic-caper. It is scheduled to be released during Christmas this year.
Post Cirkus, Ranveer will feature in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The actor has reunited with his Gully Boy co-star, Alia Bhatt, for the KJo directorial. Set to release on February 10, 2023, the film also features Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi.
