Randhir Kapoor has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The actor is admitted to Mumbai's Kokilaben Ambani hospital.
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karishma Kapoor's father and actor Randhir Kapoor has tested positive for novel coronavirus. The 74-year-old actor was admitted to Kokilaben Ambani hospital in Mumbai last night. His condition is stable. The Kapoor family will soon release a statement on the same. Last year, on April 30, Randhir lost his younger brother and actor Rishi Kapoor. The actor was battling cancer since 2018. Randhir's sister Ritu Nanda also breathed her last in 2020. On February 9, 2021, Randhir lost his younger brother Rajiv Kapoor as well. Randhir was the first one to confirm the news. "I have lost my youngest brother, Rajiv. He is no more. The doctors tried their best but could not save him,” he told an entertainment portal. Randhir started his acting career in 1971 with Kal Aaj Aur Kal. He was seen in 70s films like Jawani Deewani, Rampur Ka Laxman, Chacha Bhatija and more. He later directed Hina, one of his father Raj Kapoor's unfinished projects.
