Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor and other members of the Kapoor family attended the screening of Rajiv Kapoor’s last film, Toolsidas Junior. The screening was organised in Mumbai on Thursday, February 17.
The members of the Kapoor family, including Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Aadar Jain, Armaan Jain, Rima Jain and others attended the screening of Rajiv Kapoor’s last film, Toolsidas Junior’s screening. Helmed by Mridul Toolsidas, Toolsidas Junior stars Sanjay Dutt, Rajiv Kapoor and Varun Buddhadev in the lead roles. Rajiv Kapoor, best known for his lead role in Ram Teri Ganga Maili, breathed his last on February 9, 2021. He died due to a heart attack.
While Rajiv Kapoor left the world last year, the Kapoor family never fails to remember him. As the screening of his last film, Toolsidas Junior, was organised by Ashutosh Gowariker and Bhushan Kumar of T-Series on Thursday, several members of the Kapoor family were seen in attendance. This list includes names like Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Aadar Jain, Armaan Jain and Rima Jain. Besides them, Sanjay Kapoor and his wife Maheep Kapoor, who were very close to the late actor, were also spotted at the screening. Take a look at the photos:
Toolsidas Junior would have marked Rajiv Kapoor’s comeback to acting after three decades. The film’s shoot was wrapped up before he died on February 9, 2021. Helmed by Mridul Toolsidas, Toolsidas Junior stars Sanjay Dutt, Rajiv Kapoor and Varun Buddhadev in the lead roles. Rajiv Kapoor’s last film is said to be an inspiring sports drama, which is produced by Ashutosh and Sunita Gowariker under their banner Ashutosh Gowariker Productions along with Bhushan and Krishan Kumar under T-Series.
The youngest son of the legendary Raj Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor, passed away last year after suffering a heart attack. Randhir Kapoor confirmed the news of his brother's death. While speaking to Times of India, he said, "I have lost my youngest brother, Rajiv. He is no more. The doctors tried their best but could not save him.” He added, "I am at the hospital, waiting for his body." Rajiv made his Bollywood debut with Ek Jaan Hain Hum in the year 1983.
