
Ram Madhav on Indian Ocean region: Our approach has to be 'security and growth for all'

Ram Madhav said that India's approach to the Indian Ocean region is based on three tenets - peace for navigation, prosperity for all countries and it has to be "driven by all of us" together.
BJP leader Ram Madhav said that the Indian Ocean region is a huge opportunity for everyone, but it is also a big challenge due to a big power tussle there. For example, India's 70 per cent of total imports happen through this region. It is a huge opportunity for all of us but also a big challenge as it is prone to a big power tussle there," he said.
