Rakesh Tikait calls BJP, Owaisi 'chacha-bhatija' over demand to repeal CAA

BKU leader Rakesh Tikait was reacting to AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi's demand to repeal the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019, and the National Register of Citizens.

Farmers' leader Rakesh Tikait on Monday, November 22, said that AIMIM chief Assaduddin Owaisi and the Bharatiya Janata Party “share a bond of 'chacha-bhatija' (uncle-nephew)”. Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait was reacting to All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi's demand to repeal the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019, and the National Register of Citizens.

“Owaisi and the BJP share a bond of 'chacha-bhatija' (uncle-nephew). He should not talk about this on TV. He can just ask directly,” he said.
