AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi is not satisfied with Defence minister Rajnath Singh’s response in the Rajya Sabha about an Indian missile being accidentally launched into Pakistan territory. Owaisi said, ‘This report has scary details of the missile incident which should have been explained.’
All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief, Asaduddin Owaisi has said that, “The statement by the Defence Minister in the Rajya Sabha has told us nothing.”
Owaisi made this comment in response to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s statement about the accidental missile launch into Pakistan territory on March 5.
Speaking in the Rajya Sabha, Rajnath Singh said on Tuesday, March 15, “A missile was unfortunately accidentally launched on March 9. The incident occurred during a routine inspection. We later came to know that it had landed in Pakistan.”
Reacting to this, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, said, “This report has scary details of the missile incident which should have been explained. A cover up, as with own helicopter shooting after Balakot, won’t help.”
