Rajkummar Rao shares wedding pic seeking blessings from his late mom on her death anniversary

Rajkummar Rao remembered his mother on her sixth death anniversary, March 8. The actor posted a throwback photo from his and Patralekhaa’s wedding and penned a note in his late mom’s memory.

Rajkummar Rao remembered his mother with an emotional post on her sixth death anniversary today, March 8. The actor shared a photo from his wedding with Patralekhaa where he can be seen kissing his late mom’s photo with love. In his note, Rajkummar wrote that she will always be his hero.

Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa mesmerised everyone with their wedding photos from Chandigarh, on November 15. The ceremony was truly beautiful. The bride and groom also sought blessings of their elders. Rajkummar, who lost his mom six years ago, planted a kiss on her photo with his wife by his side. The actor took to Instagram to share that photo on his mother’s death anniversary.

In a heartfelt note, he wrote, “It’s been 6 years Maa, since you left us but I know you are always there with me. I’ll always keep you in my heart and I know you’re always there to guide me, protect me, love me and bless me. I’m a very proud son and I’ll always try and make you a proud Mother. You will always be my Hero. I love you Maa (sic).”

Rajkummar and Patralekhaa dated for 11 years before tying the knot. Sharing photos from his wedding, Rajkummar called Patralekhaa his soulmate. “Finally after 11 years of love, romance, friendship and fun, I got married to my everything today, my soulmate, my best friend, my family. Today there is no greater happiness for me than being called your husband @patralekhaa Here’s to forever .. and beyond,” he wrote.

On the work front, Rajkummar Rao will be seen next in Mr and Mrs Mahi with Janhvi Kapoor. The movie is set to hit the theatres on October 7.
