India Today
Unemployed youth from Rajasthan are staging a dharna outside the Congress party headquarters in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh, demanding a meeting with Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
The Uttar Pradesh Congress has promised jobs to 20 lakh youngsters ahead of early next year’s state election. Party leader Priyanka Gandhi has given a slogan: "I am a girl, I can fight.”
Now, holding placards with these very messages, jobless and teary-eyed youth from Congress-ruled Rajasthan are protesting at the party’s UP headquarters in Lucknow, seeking to meet Priyanka Gandhi.
