RR vs KKR: Rajasthan Royals bowler Obed McCoy did the signature Pushpa hook step to celebrate after taking the crucial penultimate wicket and the last wicket in the same over to secure RR's win over KKR.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) bowler and West Indies cricketer Obed McCoy pulled off the iconic celebration move taken from the hit film - Pushpa- after defending 11 runs in the final over and securing his team's 7-run win over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 on Monday.
With 11 required off the last six balls, West Indies left-arm pacer McCoy kept his cool to get Sheldon Jackson and Umesh Yadav to bring cheers to the Royals camp. It was perhaps the best IPL match of the current season, on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the most-watched T20 league in world cricket. McCoy revealed how Shimron Hetmyer's advice helped him in keeping calm and securing his team's win on his IPL debut.

"I am feeling good, this is my first game since last year, I had come under pressure, feeling good, it was just about getting over the nerves and going hard," McCoy told in the post-match presentation ceremony.
"I normally back my skills, but I haven't played a lot of cricket, so I backed my skills and went about trying to execute the plans, as in a normal scenario.
"I knew the batter would be looking for power, so I wanted to slow it down and wanted them to target the longer part of the ground. He (Shimron Hetmyer) was just telling me to bowl the way I normally bowl and give my best," McCoy added.
Jos Buttler's magnificent second IPL hundred was beautifully complemented by a 'five-star' Yuzvendra Chahal, who spun his web with a hat-trick as Rajasthan Royals won a high-scoring thriller against Kolkata Knight Riders by 7 runs.
