Rajasthan Police busts Remdesivir racket, six arrested for black marketing of anti-viral drug

The Rajasthan police busted a Remdesivir racket on Wednesday, arresting six people in Jaipur for illegally selling the anti-viral drug being used for the treatment of Covid-19 patients.

As multiple states grapple with a shortage of medical facilities for Covid-19 patients, the Rajasthan police cracked down on black marketing of the anti-viral drug Remdesivir. The drug is being used for the treatment of Covid-19 patients in India. Six people were arrested in Jaipur for selling the anti-viral drug Remdesivir on the black market. According to the police, these agents purchased 725 vials from Delhi and sold them at exorbitant prices in Jaipur and other parts of Rajasthan.
