Prabhu Chauhan, 41, climbed a mobile tower under the influence of alcohol after a dispute with his wife in Rajasthan’s Alwar district on Wednesday. He came down after three hours when he felt thirsty due to the heat.
A drunk 41-year-old man climbed atop a mobile tower following a dispute with his wife in Rajasthan on Wednesday. The man has been identified as Prabhu Chauhan, a resident of Khedli town of Alwar district.Following the incident, locals informed the matter to Khedli police and the administration.After some time, the police reached the spot and appealed to Chauhan to come down but he did not listen.The police then made his wife speak to him but Chauhan kept threatening them by climbing up and down the tower.Seeing the threat to the life of his father, Chauhan's six-year-old daughter kept appealing to him to come down from a loudspeaker installed at a nearby temple.Finally, Chauhan budged and came down after three hours when he felt thirsty due to the heat.Police got his medical test done and said they would take action against him. SHO Khedli Sajjan Singh told India Today that Prabhu Chauhan had climbed the tower under the influence of alcohol."A huge crowd gathered on the spot. A team of fire brigade was called and mattresses were laid under the tower. An appeal was made by the man's daughter through the loudspeaker installed at the temple. After a struggle of two and a half hours, Chauhan was brought down. His medical test is done. The process of taking appropriate action against him has been started by the police and the administration," Singh said.More Related News
