Rajasekhar and Jeevitha receive non-bailable warrant in cheque bounce case

Rajasekhar and his wife Jeevitha received a non-bailable warrant in a cheque bounce case filed by a producer. Speaking to the media, Jeevitha said that she and her husband are innocent.
Veteran actors Rajasekhar and his wife Jeevitha landed in soup after a producer filed a case against them. Now, a court in Nagari, Chittoor, has issued a non-balable warrant against the two in the cheque bounce case. Reportedly, the couple borrowed Rs 26 crore mortgaging their properties. However, they had transferred the properties to a new name.
Jyo Star Entertprises founder Koteswara Raju and his wife filed a complaint against Rajasekar and Jeevitha. Going by the complaint, the couple had borrowed a sum of Rs 26 crore by guaranteeing their properties.
Without clearing debts, the couple transferred the properties to a new name and sold them. The producers who lent the money said that they had no other option but to approach the court. They also added that they have all the documents provided by the couple.
Jeevitha met the media recently and revealed that she hadn't committed any kind of mistake. She termed the allegations baseless. Jeevitha said that the case has been pending in court for two months now.
Rajasekhar and Jeevitha are parents to two daughters, Shivani and Shivathmika. On the work front, Rajasekhar is waiting for the release of his upcoming film, Sekhar. The film will release in theatres on May 20. Sekhar is the official Telugu remake of the Malayalam hit film, Joseph.
