Shweta Tiwari's ex-husband, actor Raja Chaudhary, recently opened up about his relationship with daughter Palak and ex-wife Shweta Tiwari. He revealed that he cannot meet his daughter, as she has no time for him. Shweta and Raja tied the knot in 1998 and got divorced in 2012. After their separation, Palak stayed with her mother.
In 2021, Raja Chaudhary got to meet his daughter Palak Tiwari after 13 years. The actor has been in Mumbai for quite some time but hasn't been able to meet Palak. When ETimes asked Raja if he is in touch with his ex-wife Shweta Tiwari, he siid, "Not at all. She (Shweta) blocked my number many years ago. There is a problem I have with her, why don't you talk it out? Why are you always trying to take everything with you?..." Regarding Palak, he shared, "Yeah I am in touch with her, but by the grace of God, she is too busy."
He further added, "She (Palak) is not gonna have any time for me right now. Even I never had time for my parents as well, so that's okay with me. She is in touch. She replies sometimes whenever she gets time. I don't call her. I only text or email her and wait for her reply. I don't get a chance to (meet her). Either she is too busy, or maybe she is ignoring me, she doesn't like me too."
Meanwhile, Palak Tiwari will be making her acting debut with Rosie: The Saffron Chapter with Vivek Oberoi. Talking about the film, the actress had earlier said in a statement, "It required me to do a lot of research to slip under the skin of my character. But I had a great support system in the form of Vishal sir and Prernaa (V Arora, co-producer) ma’am. I am really pumped to kick-start the last schedule of the film. Time flew by real quick!"
