According to reports, Raj Anadkat has quit Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The auditions for new Tapu has started.
Actor Raj Anadkat, who played Tapu on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has reportedly quit the show and has not been reporting to shoots for the past one month. However, the makers haven't made any official announcement yet. Recently, Shailesh Lodha, who played Taarak Mehta, left the show.
According to reports, auditions for the new Tapu have begun. Raj Anadkat replaced Bhavya Gandhi in 2017 as Tapu. There were rumours of him quitting the show in December last year. But, it looks like he has finally bid adieu to the show.
Speaking about Raj Anadkat quitting TMKOC to Pinkvilla, actor Mandar Chandwadkar, who plays Atmaram Bhide on the show, said, "As artists, we don't know if he has quit the show but he had some health issues due to which he hasn't been shooting for the past few days. I haven't seen him on the set."
