Rahul Gandhi hit out at the BJP-led Centre over taxes imposed on people and compared them with the tax rates during the UPA regime.
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Sunday lashed out at the BJP-led Centre over taxes imposed on people and compared it with the corporate tax in effect in the country.
"Raise taxes on people, cut taxes for Mitron is the natural course of action for suit-boot-loot sarkar," said Rahul Gandhi in a tweet.

Comparing the Congress-led UPA against the current regime, the Wayanad MP claimed that the BJP has opted to impose higher tax on people and lower tax on corporates.
On Saturday, the Congress claimed that small amounts of assistance given to the poor are categorised as freebies by the BJP, while the freebies that the rich friends of the government were getting through low tax rates, write offs and exemptions were categorised as 'necessary incentives'.
