Rain, snowfall continues in parts of Kashmir valley

According to officials, fresh rains were received which measured around 1.1mm in Srinagar.

Rain and snowfall continue to lash parts of the Kashmir valley on Thursday. While most areas in the plains received rain, some upper reaches also received fresh snowfall. A meteorological department official said that Gulmarg, the world-famous skiing resort, received fresh snowfall in the last 24 hours. The minimum temperature recorded was minus 1.5°C in Gulmarg. In Srinagar, the officials said that fresh rains were received which measured around 1.1mm.
