Thundery rain is expected in the country on Friday and it may be associated with sudden strong winds during the daytime, the Qatar Met department has said. The detailed forecast says it will be hazy to misty at first, followed by a relatively hot daytime. There is a chance of local cloud formation along with thundery rain in some places. The winds will be mainly southeasterly with speeds of 5-15 knots, reaching a high of 22 knots during thundershowers. The forecast for offshore areas says it will be hazy in some places at first and partly cloudy at times. The temperature is expected to range from 27-32C in Doha today.
