The Government Railway Police returned 22 grams of gold chain, which was stolen 14 years ago in a Mumbai train, to the passenger during a Women’s Day event on Monday.
The Government Railway Police in Mumbai returned 34 railway passengers their stolen laptops, phones, jewellery and cash, collectively valued at Rs 14 lakh, during a Women’s Day event on Monday. A retired businessman, Suresh Savaliya, had given up hope of getting back his 22 grams of gold chain that was stolen along with his handbag during his journey on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai train in 2007. To his surprise, 14 years after the theft, railway police officials handed over his sto2len gold chain at the event.More Related News
