Rahul Gandhi’s photo with poster of chopper crash martyrs draws flak from BJP

The BJP on Thursday hit out at the Congress for "disrespecting martyrs" by putting up posters of Rahul Gandhi on the same wall with pictures of late Army personnel, including General Bipin Rawat.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has hit out at the Congress alleging that the party has “disrespected martyrs” who lost their lives in the chopper crash last week in Tamil Nadu. The BJP targeted the Congress for putting up photograph of its leader Rahul Gandhi alongside on a poster displaying pictures of military officers, including former Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat, who died in the chopper crash. In a Twitter post, BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla said, "Shameless Congress party puts pics of Rahul Gandhi along with martyrs on Shraddhanjali Wall. Even here they can’t honour soldiers without parivar bhakti [family worship]."
