Rahul Gandhi makes 4 promises to people of U'khand, performs Ganga Aarti in Haridwar

The promises made by Rahul Gandhi to Uttarakhand include employment to 4 lakh people and capping the price of LPG cylinders to less than Rs 500.
Ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made four promises, including employment to four lakh people and capping the price of LPG cylinders to less than Rs 500 each, to the people of Uttarakhand during his visit on Saturday.
"We are making 4 promises to you. We will give employment to 4 lakh people. We will give LPG cylinders for less than Rs 500 each. We will also implement the 'Nyay' scheme here, in which 5 lakh families will be given Rs 40,000 a year. Besides, we will provide medical facilities at your doorstep," said Rahul Gandhi.

He added, "We had promised loan waivers for farmers in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Punjab and we fulfilled that."
Meanwhile, the Congress leader posted on Twitter the videos of himself participating in 'Ganga aarti' at the famous Har Ki Pauri Ghat. He said that he "prayed for the bright future of the state.
Earlier in the day, at a farmers rally in the state, he accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of leaving protesting farmers on roads for a year amid the pandemic and alleged India now has a king who believes people should keep quiet when he makes a decision.
