Rahul Gandhi good for just photo ops & dharna, not for Congress: Ghulam Nabi Azad
India Today
Ghulam Nabi Azad said Rahul Gandhi lacks focus on rebuilding Congress and is good for just photo ops and public rallies.
Veteran politician Ghulam Nabi Azad, who quit the Congress three days back, in an exclusive interview to India Today, said that the former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi was good for just photo ops and dharna and not for the organisation.
Ghulam Nabi Azad had ended his five-decade association with the party lashing out at Rahul Gandhi for “demolishing” its entire consultative mechanism and taking the party to a point of no return.
"Whom should I blame? I had to blame Rahul Gandhi because he didn't put in any effort. My purpose was to write everything in a letter and move on. But the party tried to provoke me with false allegations," Ghulam Nabi Azad told India Today.

"Rahul Gandhi lacks focus on organisation rebuilding. He is good for photo ops, dharnas and public rallies. These are monologues," Azad said, adding that every Congressman knows that decisions are taken by either Rahul Gandhi or his security guards and PAs.
