
Rahul Bhat’s killing was targeted, special investigation team to probe all angles, says J&K Lt Guv Manoj Sinha

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has said that the killing of Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhat was targeted and that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) will probe it from all angles.
Rahul Bhat's killing was targeted, said Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha. He also said that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) will probe the incident from all angles. This was reported by news agency ANI on Sunday, May 15.
The SIT will also probe the use of force to disperse Kashmiri migrant protestors in the aftermath of the incident, said the LG.
Two foreign terrorists involved in the killing have been shot down by the police in an encounter. Directions have been given to the administration to not use force anywhere, said Manoj Sinha.

This statement comes after a delegation of state BJP leaders and the Gupkar alliance, separately, met with LG Manoj Sinha today. State BJP president Ravinder Raina said Rahul Bhat’s murder had maligned humanity and brought shame to the whole society. Raina said that Rahul was “brutally” murdered by Pakistani-sponsored terrorists.
