The Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) signed a cooperation and understanding agreement with its Russian counterpart furthering the aim friendship and distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries. Commenting on the agreement, QVA President Ali Ghanem Al Kuwari, said: “During the visit, we reviewed the infrastructure, including facilities for the World Volleyball Championship which will be held in Russia in 2022, and discussed issues of developing the sport of volleyball and beach volleyball, and the referees.” The highlights of the agreement inlcude holding training courses, sports camps and friendly matches between the Russian and Qatari volleyball and beach volleyball teams in the men’s, youth and junior categories, and exchange of experience in organizing competitions.
