Rajesh Narredu-trained Queen Of Kings wins Bookmakers’ Association Bangalore Oaks, with Arjun Mangalorkar and Sandesh shining.
Rajesh Narredu trained Queen Of Kings (Suraj Narredu up), won the Bookmakers’ Association Bangalore Oaks (2,400m), the chief event of the races held here on Saturday (Jan 4).
The winner is owned by Mr. Rajesh Narredu, Mr. Teja Gollapudi & Dr. Prabhakar Chowdary Tripuraneni. Trainer Arjun Mangalorkar won three races and Jockey Sandesh won four races respectively on the day.
Suraj confidently kept his filly a handy third till the bend before manoeuvring the mount from outside in the home stretch.
Queen Of Kings responded well and started galloping tremendously and overtook the leader Regal Reality passing 200m and won resolutely.
